I am feeling somewhat adrift on the river of life
Content to let the currents of fate guide me
It is perhaps my way of dealing
With the recent unexpected changes
Currently in my life
I am still endeavouring to focus
On present work and opportunities
Enjoying each day
Yet limiting my future planning
Even though I must consider
The possibilities
When dealing with these sudden events
I will wait until
A moment of potential enlightenment
That I know is coming
